Personally I think that anyone who has retired TWICE (ie Peter) should not be allowed to blog since most of us are still working and don't have time to read his comments, smile.
I have had huge changes in the last year, including being married to a wonderful man, Bob, last September. A few months later, we bought an old farm house and 35 acres of land, with river frontage on the Grasse River, in Madrid. A few days ago, we had Tim and Mary Beth over for dinner and to have Tim help us find our property lines. Bob and I are in the process of trying to sell 7 Grant St property and his former home in Madrid. We now know what the phrase "house poor" means.
We were married in our backyard with just a few friends as witnesses. We vowed to have a huge celebration in the summer so all our children and friends could attend. Unfortunately, we picked the same day as the reunion on July 26th. We'll be able to attend the Friday get together, hopefully. Of course, anyone who can't make the recepion at Segi's is more than welcome to come here. I'm not trying to kidnap any former classmates just want to let you know that you're always welcome. Thanks to Marcia and Martha (the 2 M's) for being so organized!!

Hi, Pete Murphy here... my contact info: PO Box 774 (238A Sylvan Falls Rd) Parishville, NY 13672. Phone: 315-265-3980. Email 'PMURPHY008@twcny.rr.com'. I'm retired now (twice). First in '94, I retired as an Army Major after almost 21 yrs service on active duty. Second in '06 as a civil servant working for the Air Force, for 10 years. Out of these two careers I've spent about 18 years in Germany. Before my final retirement I reconnected with Charlotte (Norton) Owsley PCS Class of '69 and we have been together since then. Speaking for myself - it has been the best years of my life. We moved back to the north country a couple of years ago and we are loving it, although this winter is starting to get a little old! Looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion this summer.

Hi everyone - looking forward to the reunion this summer. My husband and I have lived in WV for the past two years. I teach at a high school in the Northern Va area and am looking forward to retirement in 3 years!! We have 2 sons and three beautiful grandsons who all live close to us. We have a summer place at Higley Flow in Colton close to Marcia's (Hi Marcia) and my brother Terry. Love being in the North Country during the summer and can't wait until I can spend a couple more months there BUT not the winters!
OOPs - I have lived in WV for 32 years not 2 years!!
